Jane Durham

Jane Marie Durham, age 91, Joplin, passed away February 2, 2022.

She was born February 21, 1930 to the late Perry and Marie Maeder. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Bob; two sisters, Joy Thompson, identical twin, Jean Layne; and two husbands, Bob Fuller, whom she married in 1946 and Ed Durham, whom she married in 1983.










Jane is survived by daughters, Cathy Brown and husband, Bob, Joplin, Peggy Schnelle and husband, Doug, Carthage, Janet Morrow and husband, Steve, Bentonville, Arkansas, Jill Edwards and husband, Tim, Carl Junction; ten grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, with a fourth on the way.

Jane and her sister, Jean, were the first twins ever born at Freeman Hospital and were lifelong best friends. Jane loved her family with all her heart and cherished the times they were all together. She enjoyed sewing, baking, raising plants, crossword puzzles, dominoes and most of all, a good game of Scrabble!

Funeral services are planned for Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
