(From Clark Funeral Home)Janell Harris was born February 26, 1946 in Gause, Texas, one of four children to James E. and Bessie M. (Wisdom) Morgan. She entered into rest on February 4, 2022 in Granby, Missouri at the age of 75.
Janell taught at the Neosho Beauty College and at Endicott School of Hair Design in Joplin. She began her second career after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing as a traveling nurse in Alaska and then working in the ER at McCune Brooks Hospital until her retirement. She then did substitute teaching for East Newton School District.
She loved her time spent teaching at the cosmetology schools and enjoyed doing quilting, crocheting, playing bingo, painting and she loved her grandkids. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church.
Janell is survived by three children, Dawn Fenton and wife, Michelle Ottendorf of Granby, Curt Fenton and wife, Angie of Commerce, Oklahoma and Morgan Harris and wife, Heather of Joplin; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and two sisters, Benna Stipp and Shirley Johnson, both of Granby. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ron Morgan.
