Larry Andrews

Mr. Larry Dale Andrews, 69, of Jay, Oklahoma, departed this life on Sunday morning, January 30, 2022, in the comfort of his home.

Larry entered this life on January 2, 1953, in Rogers, Arkansas, born to the union of the late Bill and Bessie (Grimes) Andrews. He was raised and attended school in Northwest Arkansas. 

On May 13, 1974, he was united in marriage to Vonda Earline Denny and to this union three children were born, Shannon, Jason and Brandy. Larry was a hardworking farmer throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending countless hours with his grandchildren.






 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of forty-four years, Vonda Andrews; and eight brothers, Billy Ray, Max, Harold, Carl, Leon, Junior, Eli and Joe.

Larry is survived by his three children, Shannon Dale Andrews and wife, Jennifer, Jason Thomas Andrews and wife, Debbie all of Jay, Oklahoma and Brandy Earline Holly and husband, Stephen, of Southwest City, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Larry, Ashlynn, Landis, Deonna, Emily, Sadie, Corbin, Jacob, Elijah and Emberly; one great granddaughter, Amelia Andrews; three brothers, Wayne Andrews, Rick Andrews and Edward Andrews; five sisters, Pearl Powers, Betty McMahan, Judy Teehee, Anita Stacy and Lena Beamer; a former daughter-in-law, Frances Smith of Grove, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Mount Hermon Church in Jay, Oklahoma with Bro. Ray Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery in Colcord, Oklahoma. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Dale Andrews, Jason Andrews, Larry Andrews, Stephen Holly, Jerry Denny and Landis Roberson with Corbin Holly, Eli Holly, Jacob Andrews, James Knight and Tim Lawson serving as honorary pallbearers.
