(From Clark Funeral Home)Lois M. Lawson was born September 15, 1934 in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Pearl Mae (Williams) Rice. She entered into rest on January 31, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 87.
Lois was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, needlepoint and being with her great grandchildren. She currently attended the Gospel Lighthouse in Neosho.
Lois and George Lawson were married on October 26, 1955 in Webb City, Missouri and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2010.
She is survived by two children, Steve Lawson and Debbie Patrick, both of Neosho; grandchildren, Derek Lawson, Michael (Sherry) Patrick, Steven (Tammie) Lawson, Amber (Felix) Gonzalez and Nancy (Brian) Mahurin and three great grandchildren, June Patrick, Callum Lawson and Brandon Gonzalez.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Carl Lawson and daughter-in-law, Ami Lawson.
