Mildred Warner

Mildred entered this life on November 11, 1928, in rural Delaware County Oklahoma, daughter of the late Henry Auther and Opal Maude (Burdick Hobbs) Drake. 

On April 8, 1944, she was united in marriage to Robert Leon Easter and together they shared fifty-four years before his passing on January 15, 1998.







Mildred believed in hard work. She was employed by O’Brien Poultry in Southwest City and Jay, Oklahoma, as a lead lady, before her twenty-year career in sales with Electrolux. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, canning and picking berries. Mildred attended worship services at the Calvary Cowboy Church in Southwest City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert Leon Easter and Lyle Edward Warner; a son, Jimmy Easter; two grandsons, Tony DeLillo and David DeWitt; and fourteen siblings.

Mildred is survived by her five children, Peggy McCloud and husband, Gene, of Gravette, Arkansas, Bob Easter of Maysville, Arkansas, Linda Hart and husband, Richard, of Southwest City, Sandy Holt and husband, Allen, of Jay, Oklahoma and Cheryl Howe and husband, Mike, of Southwest City; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Easter of Southwest City; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a brother, George Harold Drake of Covington, Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, W. Ned Upton of Isabella, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the Full Gospel Church in Southwest City, Missouri, with Bro. Benny Lukens officiating. Burial will follow at Southwest City Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are John DeWitt, Jimmy Easter, Sam Brown, Rick Hart, Dave DeLillo and Michael Easter with Tim DeWitt and Robert Easter serving as honorary. The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials are being directed to the Southwest City Cemetery Care Fund c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Southwest City, Missouri.
