Larry Stogsdill

Larry Russell Stogsdill, 52, a resident of North Miami passed away after finishing his cancer battle at Integris Miami Hospital on Thursday, June 23, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. 

Larry was born on July 29, 1969, in Miami to Larry Eugene and Zelpha Louise (Barton) Stogsdill. Larry graduated from Commerce High School with the Class of 1987. 

He worked for twenty years for Wal-Mart. He most recently had opened a retail store in Grove. 








Larry was a National Champion Power Lifter; he also was a College Football fan and followed the Sooners. Mr. Stogsdill was preceded in passing by his brother Donnie Stogsdill.

Survivors include his parents Larry and Louise Stogsdill of North Miami, his daughter Tatum Stogsdill, his son Triston Stogsdill both of Joplin, Missouri and his two brothers Lonnie Stogsdill of North Miami and Brad Stogsdill and wife Linda of Miami. Larry is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Larry will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2022, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.








A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at First Christian Church in Miami with Minister Leon Weece officiating. Interment will follow at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.

Casketbearers will be Jerry Myers, Craig Stoops, Michael Wilson, Scott Freeman, Danny Bodnar, Brad Smith and Tristan Stogsdill.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Brad Stogsdill, Lonnie Stogsdill and his late brother Donnie Stogsdill.
