(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Yvonne Marie Beth Parmentier, “Sister E” of Mission, Texas, formerly Chicago, IL, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, in a family home in Carl Junction, Missouri after a long-time battle of auto-immune disorders. Yvonne was born on August 14, 1963, in Morris, Illinois, she was a vibrant spirit who lived a life marked by her eclectic interests and deep personal connections.
Sister E was a free spirit, known for her love of baking, Jesus, gemstones and rock collecting. Her wide taste in music brought joy not only to her but also to those around her. She was a former member of Jesus People USA, where she found a community that shared her values and passions.
Yvonne is survived by her son, Joshua Allison and his wife, Daralice (Jones) and their children, Alexander, Adara, and Ayven Allison; niece, Heather Walker and her children, Ethan, Silas, and Joy Walker; stepson, Jacob Collins; stepdaughter, Sara Castongia and her children, Audrie, Adasyn, Leilah, Lydia, and Rhonin; and many others she held dear as family. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Russell “Dwyane” Allison; her mother, Sandy Schlenz; father, Thomas Parmentier; and sister, Yvette Hubert.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ’s Church of Oronogo, 22145 Kafir Road, Oronogo, Missouri, on September 28, 2024, at 11:00 am with a small meal to follow. The service will also be live streamed on Yvonne’s Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Yvonne’s Venmo account @Yvonne-Parmentier to create a college savings fund ensuring that her legacy of love and support continues to flourish in the lives of her grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
