(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Nancy A Troyer, 78, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was born on November 12, 1946, in Stockton, Missouri, to Lloyd and Willie “Billie” Turner. Nancy worked for Leggett and Platt for 40 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was joined in marriage to Louis R. Troyer on December 21, 1973, in El Dorado Springs, Missouri; he preceded her in death on March 1, 2023.
Nancy is survived by her nephew, Sammy Kennedy of Marshall; her cousins, Patsy Faulkner of Bolivar, and Gayle Blake of Wichita, Kansas; and one sister-in-law, Marlys Berens of Hudsonville, Michigan; and four other nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Kennedy.
There will be a graveside service held for Nancy at 2:00 PM on Friday June 6, 2025, at Caplinger Mills Cemetery in Stockton, Missouri. There will be an open visitation from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri.
