(From Simpson Funeral Home)Patsy Jones, age 83 of Carl Junction, passed away on June 1, 2025 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on August 7, 1941 to Leo and Marie Wilson.
From a humble background, Patsy was raised with 8 siblings. She married Claude Jones on June 20, 1959. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her family of three children - Rick, Danny and Rhonda. Patsy and Claude shared their life together for many wonderful years, until Claude's death on March 11, 2009.
Patsy was an avid churchgoer to the Pentecostal church for most of her life. Her hobbies included gardening, reading and loving on her grand kids (more than her own children). She was an enthusiastic St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Billy, Bobby, Shirley, Ann, and Franky. She is survived by her children Rick, Danny and Rhonda; grandchildren Adam, Zach, Katie, Elizebeth, seven great-grandkids; sisters Linda and Kay; and a brother Ricky.
Graveside services were held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Carl Junction Cemetery with Chaplain Kyle Beverlin officiating.
