(From Greenfield Funeral Home)Dillard A. Myers, of South Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in the Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility at the age of 95.
He was born on October 15, 1929 in South Greenfield, MO to Charley and Cora (Sparks) Myers. Dillard served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was united in marriage to Phyllis M. Chenhall on February 14, 1970 in Golden City, MO. He chose Valentine's Day so he could remember but sometimes conveniently forget.
Dillard worked throughout his life as Brick Mason from 1945 to 2024, and was union cardholder for 79 ½ years. He was a member of the Greenfield First Christian Church and was baptized into Christ in July of 2012.
Dillard enjoyed going fishing and camping. In his spare time, he also enjoyed riding horses, playing pool and snooker, square dancing, and bowling. After he retired he liked to tinker with lawn mowers and chainsaws. Dillard loved to agitate people and you would see a sheepish grin and a twinkle in his eye.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charley and Cora Myers; two brothers, G.D. Myers and Robert Myers; and two sisters, Mary Frieze and Carol Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Myers; five daughters, Vicki Martin and husband Sam, Becky Myers, Windy Myers, Gina Arietta, and Susan Huser; three sons, Mark Myers and wife Tamara, John Crull, and Tom Crull and wife Melodee; one brother, Terry Myers; one sister, Patsy Hargis; grandchildren, Dawn Martin, Travis Martin, Tony Myers, Josh and Tammy Wiscovitch, Jerimiah and Stephanie Wiscovitch, Jared Ball, Robert Ball, John and Adrienne Ball, Cody Gerhardt, Kaitlin Crull, Trenton and Sayo Crull, Ryne Crull, Alek Crull, Sara and Ricky Montgomery, James and Tasha Huser, Colby and Dwayne Clift, and Landin Myers; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, in Daughtrey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dade County Senior Citizens Center. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
