(From Ozark Funeral Home)David Randall Dean, 59, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
David was born on January 22, 1965, in Joplin, Missouri. He was affectionately known as “Randy the Trashman” in reference to his work with several waste removal companies in the area. Randy enjoyed fishing, his dogs, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a Kansas City Chiefs fan and the University of Southern California Trojans.
He was preceded in death by his father, David L. Dean, and a brother, Richard “Richie” Dean.
Randy is survived by his mother, Paula Fulton-Dean-Clay (John) of Joplin, Missouri; a son David L.M. Dean (Stormi) of Anderson, Missouri; sister, Angela Dean-Ramirez of Fountain Valley, California; nephew and niece, Alex and Adriana; uncle Greg Fulton of Carl Junction, Missouri, aunt Katy Voris of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Ian Ramirez, Lilah-Ann Dean, Adilynne Dean, Braeydon Briley and Ayva Briley; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Randy.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Pastor Trent Cook will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at this time. Cremation will follow the service.
