(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Carol Martin-Adamson, age 79, Joplin, Missouri passed away Friday February 4, 2022, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1942, in Joplin, Missouri to Frank and Maude (Lauderdale) Hoagland.
Carol was a lifetime area resident. She worked for the former Otasco and worked in the restaurant business including Lil’s Café and co- owner/operator of the Village Café.
Carol enjoyed spending time with family and vacationing in Arizona visiting with her brother. She also enjoyed playing cards, making floral arrangements, sharing family stories and watching her great grand babies.
She is survived by two sons, Mike England, Darin England and wife Peggy, two daughters, Kathy England, Tina Felker (Terry) all of Joplin, Missouri; one brother, Frank Hoagland and wife Sandy, Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Mary Dutton and husband Mike, Debra Johnson (Jerry); one sister in-law, Sharon Hoagland; two step sons, Jeff Martin and wife Melissa, Frankie Adamson; two step daughters, Christy DeGraff and husband Jim, LaDonna Hudgins and husband Rick, all of Joplin, Missouri; first husband and friend Paul England Jr; 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, son, Troy Joe England, brother Forrest Hoagland, granddaughter Ashtin Langston, two husbands, Don Martin and Jack Adamson.
The family extends a special thank you to, Avalon Hospice, Angie, Joslen, and Joe.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary chapel. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Monday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Judes Children Hospital and they may be sent in care of the mortuary.
