(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Carol Sue Turner, 78, a longtime resident of Monett, Mo., passed from this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
Mrs. Turner was born on May 11, 1943, in Monett, Mo. She was the daughter of Howard B. and Crystal L. (Miller) Craker Mott. She was employed by Jumping Jacks Shoe Co. for seven years, Joyce’s Custom Draperies for over twenty-five years, and Pierce City Schools for fifteen years. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Monett.
Carol Sue married Jimmy R. Turner on August 12, 1962. They were married for over forty-six years before his passing on July 3, 2009.
Survivors include: two daughters, Karla Bunch and her husband, Jim, of Racine, Mo. and Bekki Turner of Monett; one son, Jason Turner of Verona, Mo.; one sister, Shelly Gray and her husband, Les, of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, followed by Memorial Services at 11:00 a.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett. Interment will be at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Children’s Center, a child advocacy center for abused children, in Pierce City, Mo.
