Mr. Carl Jackson Breckenridge, 83, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022, in the comfort of his home.
Carl entered this life on August 18, 1938, in Blocker, Oklahoma, son of the late Clarence and Helen (James) Breckenridge. He was raised and attended school in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Carl was a truck driver throughout his life. He enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. Carl was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dianna Breckenridge; two children, Calvin Breckenridge and Lawana Sandel; and siblings, half brother, Sonny Jones, half sister, Edith Rae Larkin, two sisters, Helen Thornton and Mary Ann Lingle.
Carl is survived by four sons, Carl Lee Breckenridge of Seneca, Johnny Ray Breckenridge also of Seneca, Donald Breckenridge of Anderson and Ronald Breckenridge of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Donna Brown of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Karen Clark of Anderson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Breckenridge of McAlester, Oklahoma; two sisters, Phyllis Streithorst of Clarksville, Arkansas and Patsy Boyd of McAlester, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 2-3:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
