Donald James Ashworth died September 11, 2023 at the age of 81 years old.
He was born July 6th, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the Army Security Agency as an Electronic Warfare Specialist from 1964 to 1970. He graduated from MSSU with a business degree.
After graduating, he moved to Chicago and was a shipping and receiving manager for Hirsch Industries. He married Linda Wilson on May 16th, 1987.
After retiring, he moved back to Neosho and was active in the VFW and a lifetime member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ira Ashworth, and his mother, Frances Marie Wilson Ashworth. Surviving him are his wife Linda, his sister Mary Ann Schumaker, his brother-in-law Edward Schumaker, and nieces and nephews.
