Yvonne McIntire

Yvonne McIntire, age 88 of Joplin, Missouri entered her heavenly home on Monday September 25, 2023.

She was born March 11, 1935 in Anderson, Missouri to Ira and Grace (White) Adams.

Yvonne was a devoted homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Turk & Giles.

She married Everett McIntire on May 2, 1959 and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents and one sister, Pauline Classen.

Yvonne is survived by one son, Everett McIntire Jr and wife Kimberley, Carl Junction, Missouri; two daughters, Grace Ann McIntire, Joplin, Missouri, Sharon deJong and husband Mark, Poway, California; one brother, Eldon Adams and wife Edna, Anderson, Missouri; three granddaughters, Janessa Dailey and husband Kyle, Nicole Famiglietti and husband David, Alex Willis and husband Josh, five great grandchildren, Phoenix Willis, Everley Willis, Archer, Famiglietti, Pieter Famiglietti, Moira Famiglietti.

The family would like to extend and special thank you to Dr. Brandon Gibson and the staff at Freeman Hospital for the care provided for their mother.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday September 30, 2023 at Joplin Calvary Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Wes Anderson and Pastor Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Banner Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:00 pm Friday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
