(From Parker Mortuary)Kelly Pullen, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri. Born on June 18, 1974, in Omaha, Nebraska, Kelly's zest for life and his warm spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Kelly's journey through life was marked by an adventurous spirit and a kind heart. He found his soulmate in Rachel Larkin, and together they navigated the joys and challenges of life. Kelly was a pillar of strength and support for his mother, Karen Pullen.
Other survivors include his daughter, Jubal Pullen, and his sons, Joab Pullen and Jotham Pullen, his stepchildren, Thea Romo, Trevar Southerlan, Casandra Southerlan, and Steven Southerlan. Kelly's siblings, Bobbi Jo Reynolds and her husband Chris, and his brother Joseph Pullen, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, will forever remember his infectious laugh and generous spirit. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Pullen, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
After completing his associate's degree, Kelly dedicated many years as a truck driver for Don's Cold Storage in Joplin, MO. His strong work ethic and friendly demeanor made him well-respected among his colleagues and within the community.
Kelly's passion for life was evident in his hobbies. He started playing and fell in love with playing the drums, he was getting ready to start lessons and further his new found hobby. His love for music was only matched by his love for the open road, or it was blasting from his pocket on a Bluetooth speaker. A proud member of the Freedom of Road Riders Local 11 in Joplin, MO, Kelly relished the camaraderie and the sense of liberty that came with riding his motorcycle alongside his friends.
To describe Kelly as adventurous, kind, and friendly only scratches the surface of the man he was. He had an innate ability to light up a room and make others feel welcome. His laughter was contagious, and his willingness to lend a hand was unparalleled. Kelly's presence was a gift to those who had the privilege of experiencing it, and his memory will continue to inspire kindness and adventure in the hearts of his loved ones.

Funeral services for Kelly Pullen will be held at Thorhill-Dillon Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025. The visitation will start at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with Chris Reynolds officiating.
