(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Rodger Fielding Harris, 82, of Monett, Missouri passed away on Monday November 17, 2025 while staying at Ascend at Aurora in Aurora, Missouri. He was born in Monterey, California on September 21, 1943; the son of the late Fielding Hyrum and Lavon (Blomquist) Harris. He was united in marriage in St. George, Utah on August 30, 1968 to Dannell Winder; she preceded him in death on June 1, 2009.
He was retired from EFCO Corporation in Monett, Missouri, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett, Missouri.
Rodger is survived by six sons; Rodger Harris Jr. of Cassville, Missouri, Daniel Harris of Monett, Missouri, James Harris of Monett, Missouri, Kevin Harris of Neosho, Missouri, Russell Harris of Wentworth, Missouri, and Joseph Harris of Monett, Missouri; one daughter; Wendy Koenig of Monett, Missouri; brother; Peter Harris of Dallas, Texas; half-brother; Jaron Bingham of Kirksville, Utah; four sisters; Anavon Geddes of Ogden, Texas, Thorlelle Abbott of Idaho, Sheryl Woodfield of Delta, Utah, and Valonne Freeman of Camas, Washington; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Fielding and Lavon and his wife Dannell.
Visitation for Rodger is being held on Sunday November 23, 2025 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services are being held on Monday November 24, 2025 at 10:00a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Monett, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
