Avilla Worsham

Avilla June Worsham, 65, Seneca, died June 28, 2015 at Joplin Health and Rehab, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Avilla was born Jan. 26, 1950 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Murl and Norma (Brizendine) Gallemore. She had worked as a registered nurse for 42 years and loved being a nurse and caring for others. Avilla enjoyed cooking and being with family. 

She married Charles Steven Worsham and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Norma Gallemore of Seneca; three brothers, Gary Gallemore and wife, Cheryl; Dennis Gallemore and wife, Jeanette and Rex Gallemore; one sister, Karen Gallemore; nephews, Caleb Gallemore, Brandon Gallemore and Noah Eifert and grand nephew, Hendrix Eifert. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father, Murl.
