Carrie Lynn Heeren, age 58 of Joplin, passed away at Mercy Hospital at 10:07 p.m. on May 30, 2015.
Born November 18, 1956 in Fairchild, Washington, she was the daughter of Arvle Wayne Goodman and the late Sheryl Enz Goodman and had lived in the Joplin area since 1999, moving from Colorado. Carrie was raised in California and lived there most of her lifetime. She worked many jobs and had a passion for cooking. She was a Christian.
She married Jeffrey Kevin Heeren on November 10, 1984 in Truckee, CA. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2013.
Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Heeren and spouse Kayla of Joplin; a son, Jayson Whaley of Joplin; her father, Wayne Goodman of Spokane, WA; a brother, Mitchell Albert and wife Cathy of Joplin; a sister, Shawnette Elliott of Broken Arrow, OK; five grandchildren, Ian, Avery, Kyrsten, Dustin and Kaylynn; four nephews and one niece.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Four State Cremation.
