Lois 'Jean' Hart, age 78, of Joplin, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
Jean was born August 9, 1936 to the late Harold Vance Riddle, Sr. and Lorene Davis Riddle in Webb City, Missouri. Jean was a Homemaker most of her life but worked as an LPN for Jane Chinn Hospital and St. John's Hospital. She also worked as a garment inspector for Elder's and Big Smith Manufacturing. Jean lived out her faith in Jesus Christ and attended Grace Pointe Assembly of God in Carthage with her family for several years.
On March 19, 1966, Jean married the love of her life, Jacob 'Wendel' Hart in Joplin. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1999.
Surviving Jean are three children, Robert 'Bobby' McDaniel and wife, Shawna of Joplin, Pat Belk and husband, Tony of Joplin and Sandy Copeland and husband, Kevin of Carthage; brother, Ronald Riddle and wife, Judy of Webb City; sister, Frances Michel of Joplin; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many extended family that will miss her dearly.
Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Mike McDaniel; great-grandchild, Olivia Grace Dodson; sisters, Mary Ann Ferrell and Carolyn Brown; brother, Harold V. Riddle "Jr" and her step father, Ernest Hawkins.
Services for Jean will be Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Parker Mortuary, Joplin, with Rev. Chad DeGonia officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
