Clara Sarratt Williams, 92, Neosho, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 10, 2015.
Clara was born June 1, 1922 in Blue Mountain, Arkansas to Charley and Ada (Fennell) Gilliam. The family moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 1926 and Clara graduated from Varnum High School in the spring of 1941. She married Clyde Sarratt and they moved to Goodman, Missouri and founded Ozark Wood Products, where she was corporate secretary until 1984. Clyde preceded her in death in 1983. Clara met and married John G. Williams from Woodward, Oklahoma and they shared eleven happy years traveling and spending time in his hometown of Woodard until his death in 1995. Clara was a member of BPWA; Flowers Box Garden Club, Newcomers Club and belonged to the YMCA and enjoyed swimming and water aerobics with her many friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Neosho.
Clara is survived by two sons, Charles and wife, Patsy of Waldron, Arkansas; John and wife, Tammy of Goodman; two daughters, Gloria Forbes and husband, Burl of Skiatook, Oklahoma and Cricket Ginnett and husband, Doug of Neosho; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Clara cherished her relationship with John’s three children, Judy Phillips and Jack Williams of Woodward, Oklahoma and Mike Williams of Grove, Oklahoma and their families.
Visitation will be at 9:00 am prior to the service.Saturday, February 14, 2015
