Eula Jean Kyger, 78, Diamond, died Feb. 17, 2015 at The Arbors At Silver Creek, following a short illness.
Jean was born Oct. 4, 1936 in Newton County, Missouri, the daughter of Robert E. and Doris E. (Burnett) Wilson. She was a lifelong area resident and worked at Eagle Picher until her retirement in 2002. She enjoyed painting and crafts and was a member of the Diamond First Baptist Church.
Jean and Robert ‘Bob’ Kyger were married on April 2, 1954 in Diamond and he survives. Also surviving are four children, Cindy Cain and husband, Cliff of Overland Park, Kansas; Paul Kyger and Mark Kyger, both of Granby and Bobbie Sweet and husband, Marty of Diamond; one brother, Herbert Wilson of Granby; one sister, Sylvia Harper of Centennial, Colorado; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Walter ‘Tony’ Wilson.
