Dayton Scott Noel, 54, Greenbrier, AR, formerly of Neosho, died Feb. 6, 2015 in Little Rock, AR, following a sudden illness.
Dayton was born Oct. 18, 1960 in Monett, MO, the son of Claude and Ruthanna (Forkner) Noel. He graduated from Parkwood High School in 1979. Dayton worked for Wal-Mart and had moved to Greenbrier, AR one and a half years ago from Neosho and currently worked as Co-Manager of the Wal-Mart Super Center in Conway. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and was a musician and artist.
Dayton and Michelle (Johnson) were married on Dec. 13, 1983 in Miami, OK and she survives. Also surviving are three children, Cassie Jonelle Noel and Jeremy Dayton Noel, both of Neosho and Nathan Scott Noel of the home; two brothers, Douglas Noel, Joplin and Devon Noel, Diamond; two sisters, Claudia Maxwell, Joplin and Cecily Mahan, Shawnee Mission, KS; a niece, Dolly Ann Ramm, Webb City; father in law, Billy Don Johnson, Neosho; brother in law, Perry Johnson, Carl Junction and a lifelong friend, Kenny Kellogg, Neosho. He is preceded in death by his parents.
