Monty R. Sharp, 58, Goodman, died February 6, 2015 at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
Monty was born January 16, 1957 in Granby. He was a lifelong area resident and worked as an over-the-road truck driver for Nutra Blend before retiring in 2013. Monty loved working with cattle and with his grandson in garden tractor pulls. He married Linda Duncan on August 11, 1978 in Miami, Oklahoma, and she survives. Also surviving are his father, Ralph Lawson, Seneca; his mother, Rosie Langrehr, Neosho; two children, Monty Sharp II and wife, Jackie, Goodman, and Montana Harris and husband, James, Goodman; three grandchildren, Nathan and Jacob Harris and Walker Sharp; brother Eric Lawson, Neosho; and sister, Elizabeth Jones, Neosho. Monty was preceded in death by a daughter, Miranda Sharp, and a brother, Lark Sharp.
