Lucie Williams

Lucie R. Williams, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 58. Born on March 8, 1965, in Havelock, North Carolina, Lucie’s journey through life touched the hearts of many. Her unwavering love, compassion, and boundless devotion to her family and friends will forever be cherished.

Lucie was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah J. Thomason and Charles A. Thomason, as well as her brother, Larry Jo Thomason. Despite these losses, Lucie’s strength and resilience shone through, and she found solace in the presence of her loving family.








Her legacy lives on through her devoted husband of 27 years, Bill Williams, who stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing a love that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Lucie’s nurturing spirit extended to her four children, Sarah Hardin of Kansas City, MO, Tabatha Rusin of Saint Clair, MO, Samantha Reynolds of Carthage, MO, and Coady Williams of New River, AZ.

Lucie’s heart overflowed with joy as she embraced the role of grandmother to sixteen cherished grandchildren. Her face would light up in their presence, and her love for them was immeasurable. She leaves behind a legacy of treasured memories and shared laughter that will continue to shape the lives of generations to come.








Lucie’s impact reached far beyond her immediate family, as her warmth and compassion attracted friends from all walks of life. Her generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand made her a pillar of strength and a source of comfort to those in need.

In memory of Lucie R. Williams, while there will be no formal services held, her family and friends are invited to remember her in their own ways. Let us hold onto the precious memories and lessons she gifted us, finding comfort in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in the love she shared and the lives she touched. She will be greatly missed.
