Rodger Roller

Rodger Lane Roller, 65, passed away on December 26, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on August 29, 1959, in Washington, Missouri to the late Lloyd and Donna (Montgomery) Roller. Rodger's early years were spent in the close-knit community of St. Claire, MO, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed a strong sense of duty that would guide his life.

Rodger proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard for 17 years, a commitment that reflected his deep patriotism and dedication to service. After his honorable discharge, he transitioned to a career as a truck driver, a role that allowed him to travel extensively and meet people from all walks of life, which he thoroughly enjoyed.








Rodger is survived by his siblings, Lloyd "Brett" Roller, Clint Roller, Jana Dawson, Randy Roller, and Brooke Boyd. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Roller.

As we bid farewell to a man of great honor, we celebrate the enduring impact he has left on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be laid to rest in the VA Cemetery in Springfield, MO. at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
