Earl Andrews

Earl Gene Andrews, age 78, Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at a local hospital.

Earl was born March 29, 1946, in Tipton Ford, MO, one of seven children born to the late Clyde Samuel “Andy” Andrews and Grace Margaret (Hallock) Andrews. He grew up in Joplin and served in the United States Army before working several jobs prior beginning his career working for TAMKO where he worked many years before retiring in 1990 as a lab technician. He then worked for some time with the Sheltered Workshop in Monett, MO and then with Mazoo Liquor in Carthage. He loved spending time with his family. He was a talented wood worker over the years and made several different creations that he shared with his family. He was also very fond of fishing, hunting and camping over the years. He will be greatly missed by many.







In addition to his parents, brothers and sisters, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue (Mason) Andrews.

Survivors include his daughters, Bobbi Hylton and husband Jerry of Seneca, Lynda Velten and husband Ed of Pierce City, MO; eight grandchildren, Josh Hylton (Makayla), Kimberly Allen (Darren), Alisha Stewart (J.D.), Genie Chapman (Travis). Laviana Toombs (Mike), John Velten (Cathy), Becky Gilliam (William), Suzanna Curry (Tim); 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in Osborne Memorial Cemetery.




Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
