Kenneth Trenary

Kenneth Earl Trenary, born on March 15, 1944, in Stella, Missouri, to Twyla and Marvin Trenary, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Patricia Allman Trenary, whom he married on July 18,1964 after graduating from Fairview High School in 1963. She preceded him in death on September 20, 2021.

Ken dedicated much of his life to his work as a machinist at Eagle Picher Industries, where he took great pride in crafting battery containers for the United States space program. His commitment to excellence was evident in all he did.








He is survived by his two children, Kristen Stremel and husband, Greg of Joplin, Missouri and Jason Trenary and wife, Sonya of Lowell, Arkansas; as well as three grandchildren, Lindsey Spetnagel and husband, Ryan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Andrew Trenary of Lowell, Arkansas and Alexander Stremel of Joplin. Ken also cherished his two great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Emmelia Kate Spetnagel.

A long-time member of the Kiwanis Club and a Key Club advisor, Ken was actively involved in his community. He volunteered with the Neosho United Methodist Men and sang in the Neosho United Methodist Church Choir. He also contributed to the community through his volunteer work at Mercy Hospital and his own business, “Ken’s Flag Sales.”

Ken had a passion for travel, with Wyoming being his favorite destination. He was fortunate to visit Alaska twice, creating cherished memories along the way.








Kenneth Earl Trenary leaves behind many friends and relatives who will miss him greatly. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Funeral visitation services with the family will be held on Friday, November 14, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 15, at 10:00 AM at Dice Cemetery in Fairview, MO, located at the corner of Vixen Road and Highway HH (Hwy HH).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dice Cemetery in care of Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Missouri, 64850.
