(From Daniel Funeral Home)Roland Dennis True, age 81, of Lamar, Missouri, passed away on November 4, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Dennis was born on December 29, 1943, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to Harold Henry True and Wilma Olive (Sawyer) True. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1962. On November 21, 1991, Dennis married Terri Annette Dorris in Miami, Oklahoma.
Dennis worked as a truck driver for Thorco and attended Grace Lutheran Church in Lamar, Missouri. He loved fishing and golfing, and especially enjoyed participating in Tuesday Golf at Lockwood Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Terri; one son, Sean (Christy) True of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two daughters, Caitlin True of Lamar and Colleen (Darian) True-Williams of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchildren, Danielle True (Jon) Hausman, Mick (Kaitlyn) True, and Robin True Williams; four great-grandchildren, Charlotte, William, Francis, and Josephine; his twin brother, Brad True of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; sister-in-law, Carol Alt of St. Louis, Missouri and mother-in-law, Marge Marshall of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill Alt; one sister-in-law, Mary True; and his father-in-law, Tuffy Marshall.
