Lonnie Edward Allen, age 71, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at home.
He was born December 23, 1945 in Stockton, California the son of William Edward and Ollie Marie (Freeman) Allen, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Loni Allen of Harper, Kansas; two sisters, Shirley Brattin and her husband Stan of Cassville and Lavoy Barnard of Sarcoxie, Missouri and one brother, Leslie Allen of Cassville.
Lonnie grew up in California. From May 26, 1966 until February 29, 1968 he served in the United States Army, where he completed his education. He was a member of the American Legion. Most of his life was spent farming cotton and wheat.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
