(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Ryan James Swain, age 32, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home. He was born November 15, 1990, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Jackie Ray and Denise Daverne (Phillips) Swain.
Ryan was a 2009 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He enjoyed cooking, his cats, going to the Cat Café in Joplin, Missouri and playing video games.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Jackie and Denise Swain of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Shirley Hackworth of Lamar, Missouri and several aunts, uncles and cousin.
Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and LaVerna Swain.
