(From Clark Funeral Home)Dylan Wayde Wallace was born July 22, 1990 in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Wayne and Barbara (Parsley) Wallace. He entered into rest suddenly on May 26, 2023 at the age of 32.
Dylan was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Diamond High School in 2009.
He has worked at Lowe’s in Joplin, as a hunting guide for K and K Hunting, Ozark Crane, Matt Denny Construction and currently as a mechanic with his father. Dylan was an exceptional deer hunter, turkey hunter, fisherman and loved all outdoors and running dogs with his father. He attended Diamond First Baptist Church.
Dylan is survived by his parents, Wayne and Barbara Wallace of Diamond; son, Wade Jackson Wallace of Neosho; sister, Tiffany Jordan of Diamond and his paternal grandmother, Faye Wallace of Diamond.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jutta Gerhards and Jack B. Parsley and his paternal grandfather, Bud Wallace.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2 pm at the Diamond First Baptist Church, Frankie Hency and Pastor Tivis Booth will officiate. Interment will be in the Kenney Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Kent Daniels, Marty Danner, David James, Carl James, Johnny Bradley and Ethan Lucas.
Those serving as honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Burke, Michael Burke, Simon Burke, Austin Greninger and Travis Heckmaster.
The family will receive friends at a time of visitation, Thursday evening, June 1, 2023 from 5 pm – 7 pm at the Diamond First Baptist Church. Contributions in memory of Dylan may be made to Diamond First Baptist Church.
