Robert “Bob”Windsor McPherson passed away April 9, 2023 in Frisco, Texas at the age of 85. He was born to Robert E. Lee and Bertha Louise Mae (Arnold) McPherson on November 30, 1937 in Ottowa, Kansas.
Bob married Sherry Cox in Carthage, Missouri on October 3, 1959. He served as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Carthage and Glenstone Baptist Church in Springfield. Bob enjoyed fishing, boating, and bird hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry McPherson of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Challie Allison and husband, David of Cassville, Missouri; daughter Robin Manson and husband, Bill of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Lauren O’Grady and husband, Jim of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter Amanda Gross and husband, Anthony of Cassville, Missouri; grandson, Tanner Manson and wife, Braylie of La Porte, Texas; granddaughter, Jennifer Allison of Tyler, Texas; great-granddaughter, Parker Gross of Cassville, Missouri; great-granddaughter, Brooke O’Grady of McKinney, Texas; and great-granddaughter, Rylee Gross of Cassville, Missouri.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bertha McPherson, brother, Arnold McPherson, and stepmother, Pauline.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at Glenstone Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.
