(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Veronica Azucena Marroquin Chavez, 27, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Jasper County, Missouri.
Veronica was born August 30, 1997, in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Encarcion Juarez Vicente and Odilia Chavez de Juarez.
She had been a resident of Carthage, Missouri for about a year and worked in Lamar, Missouri. Veronica attended El Jordan Church in Carthage.
Veronica is survived by her three children, Jackson, Denis, and Durcy; her parents, Encarcion Juarez Vicente and Odilia Chavez de Juarez; three siblings, Bryan Lorenzo Juarez Chavez, Christian Alexander Juarez Chavez, and Sandy Mishel Juarez Chavez; grandmother, Inez Chavez Argueta; aunt, Ingrid Lissette Chavez of Miami, Oklahoma; cousin, Marilyn Isabel Gomez Chavez of Miami, Oklahoma; and sister-in-law, Saidi Mariela Tevalan; the family Gonzalez Pastor; and the rest of the Chavez family.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at El Jordan Church in Carthage. Services will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at El Jordan Church in Carthage. The burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
