(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Robert “Bob” McConnell, 85, went to his heavenly home on February 12, 2025 after a short illness. Bob was born on October 5, 1939, to Robert and Lois McConnell, who both preceded him in death.
He graduated from Carthage High School in 1957. He was in the Air Force and married the love of his life, Doris Jean Boyd, in 1960. She also preceded him in death.
Bob was a heavy construction equipment operator for Snyder Brothers Construction Company upon retirement.
Bob is survived by two sons, Robert Dale and Greg; two grandchildren, Lindsay and Jesse; and four great grand kids. He was a beloved husband, father, and papa.
There will be a Celebration of Life from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri.
