(From Ozark Funeral Home)LydiaAnn Janelle Craig-Brown, of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, passed away suddenly at her residence on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the age of 35. She entered this life on February 24, 1989, in Gravette, Arkansas, one of four daughters born to the union of Wesley and Laura (Henley) Craig. She was a lifelong resident of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, where she cultivated a life filled with joy and a devotion to her beloved family and friends.
LydiaAnn's life was a testament to her caring nature and her ability to touch the hearts of those around her. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Dallas Brown, on March 31, 2023, and together they created a home filled with laughter and love. Her life was further blessed with three beautiful children: BonnieAnn McGrew, Xerxes Craig, and Garel Craig Brown, who were the light of her life and her pride and joy.
Her professional life was diverse; she held a CDL and had worked as a nurse's aide, showcasing her innate desire to help and care for others. Above all, LydiaAnn was a devoted homemaker, pouring her heart and soul into creating a nurturing environment for her family.
She had a passion for farm animals, which she cared for with great affection and dedication. LydiaAnn was also a skilled welder and enjoyed working with her hands, a talent that was admired by all who had the pleasure of witnessing her creations. She was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas Brown whom she married on March 31, 2023; three children, Beloved BonnieAnn McGrew, Xerxes Craig and Garel Craig Brown; her parents, Wesley and Laura (Henley) Craig; three sisters, Tina Marie Ramer, Gracious Gift Ramer and Launa Jean Craig; maternal grandparents, R. Wayne and Bonnie Henly; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas with Larry Hendren officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Steven Barfield, Joshua Todd, Christopher Barber, Neil Henley, David Henley and Alvin Hall. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
