(From Parker Mortuary)Erick Ray Trimble, age 49, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his home.
Erick was born on July 16, 1975 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was a graduate of Joplin High School. Erick spent most of his working life building homes and laying flooring. He enjoyed restoring old homes and fixing broken items and turning them into something beautiful. He spent his spare time exercising and working on old cars/trucks.
Erick was a handy man and there wasn’t hardly anything he couldn’t fix. He never took a break and his hands were a testament to his hard work. He was a baptized believer and loved God with all of his heart. He loved his family and children and would’ve helped anyone that was in need.
Erick is preceded in death by his father, Don Trimble.
Erick is survived by his two children, Skylar and Hailey of Lincoln, Nebraska; His mother and step-dad, Karen and James Peschka of Neosho, Missouri; two sisters, Andrea Thompson and Stephanie Smart of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his stepmother, Janice Trimble of Joplin, Missouri; three step-siblings, Jill, Janice, and B.J; six nieces, Shelby, Alexus, Mersadies, Abrianna, Saleena, and Solara; one nephew, Tyler. As well as a slew of extended family and friends.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2025, at Parker Mortuary with Pastor Jim Bowles officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
