Sharon Nunn

Sharon Kay Nunn, 81, of Seneca, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Sharon was born on October 31, 1943, in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, to Paul Kelley, Sr. and Mary C. (Huffman) Kelley. She was one of four children and moved to the Neosho area at a young age, where she grew up and graduated from Midway High School in 1961.

Sharon’s working career spanned several years, including roles at the ASCS office in Neosho, the Neosho Police Department, Sale Memorial Hospital, and the Newton County Clerk’s Office, where she retired in 2006. Sharon was known for her dedication, and she loved her work in service to the community.








A woman of deep faith, Sharon was a longtime member of Swars Prairie Baptist Church and later attended the First Baptist Church in Neosho. Her love for her family and her strong belief in the power of faith were central to her life. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and especially making angels to give to others, a reflection of her kind and generous spirit.

On December 31, 1965, Sharon married Max Nunn in Newtonia, Missouri. The two shared a deep bond until his passing on July 16, 2017. Sharon’s love for her family never wavered, and she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Sharon is survived by two children: Jeff Nunn and wife, Stephanie, of Goodman, and Rhonda Percival and husband, Donnie, of Stella; four grandchildren, Matthew Percival and wife, Caitlin, of Neosho, Adam Max Percival and wife, Nicole, of Seneca, Cameron K. Nunn of Seneca, and Jacob Nunn of Goodman; and four great-grandchildren, Rhett Percival, Annistyn Percival, Tucker Max Percival, and Truett Percival. She is also survived by one sister, Carol Plumlee and husband, Lonnie, of Neosho; one brother, Paul Kelley, Jr. and wife, Connie, of Neosho; and her beloved fur baby, Benji.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Skelton.

Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home - Chapel of Memories on February 18, 2025, at 9:30 AM, with the funeral service following at 10:30 AM. Marcus Rogers will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Swars Prairie Cemetery in Seneca, Missouri.








In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Sharon’s life and sharing memories of her kind spirit and unwavering love for those around her.
