(From Parker Mortuary)Shirley (DeMasters) Cross, 83, passed away on Sunday, February 9, at her home after a brief illness.
Shirley was born February 2, 1942, the daughter of Mary (Fergerson) and Clova DeMasters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clay and David DeMasters, and her beloved niece, Kathy Cline.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth; daughters Neina (Dennis) Bellm and Misty Howard; grandchildren Alyssa (Chad) Lawson, Natalie (Shane) Adams, Lindsay (Nick) Supplee, Joshua (Stephanie) Howard and Morgan (Eli) Stiles; and great-grandchildren Michayla and Braydon Lawson, Jerrick, Alora and Beckham Adams, Stella and August Supplee, Declan Howard, and Cora, Millie and Oliver Stiles; and great-great-granddaughter Ava Prater. She is also survived by her cherished niece and nephews, Mary Sams, Peter DeMasters, and Joshua Cline.
Shirley was a giving, selfless and intentional soul who will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Celebration of life will be Saturday, March 15, at the Neosho Public Library, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri
