(From Clark Funeral Home)With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Andreas Ada, who was born on March 22, 1963, on the island of Pohnpei, Micronesia to Jose and Rosenda (Patricio) Ada. Andreas passed away on September 19, 2025, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Andreas grew up surrounded by the beauty and traditions of Pohnpei, where he developed a lifelong love for island music. Known for his musical spirit, he especially enjoyed playing the guitar, often filling the air with the rhythms of home.
In his early twenties, Andreas moved to Neosho, Missouri, to pursue his education at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO). While attending college, he worked hard to support himself, holding a job at Tyson Foods. He never let go of his roots or his passions, especially his love for Oklahoma Sooners football, which he followed with enthusiasm and pride.
Those who knew Andreas will remember him most for his humor, warmth, and the joy he brought into every room. A true jokester with a comical spirit, he made fast friends and lasting memories wherever he went. His friendly nature and quick wit endeared him to many.
Andreas leaves behind a legacy of laughter, music, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved son Brandon Ada of Neosho, Missouri, a great-nephew M.Jay, five brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
