Michael Dean Wood, age 60, and Debra Sue (Anderson) Wood, age 60, of Pineville, Mo. passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

From high school sweethearts to a lifetime of love, Mike and Debbie dedicated their lives to one another and to their family. They made it their mission to instill strong Christian values in their children and to treat everyone they met as family. Their home was a place of gathering, filled with the sounds of laughter from friends and family, whether they were cheering at sporting events or splashing at a pool party. Their favorite people in the world were their kids and granddaughter.

Together, they shared a special magic. Debbie's bright smile and Mike's one-of-a-kind humor created a bond that captivated everyone they met. Debbie found happiness in the open road on her bike, a day on the golf course, the color blue, and traveling the world. Mike, ever devoted, found his joy in whatever made Debbie happy—and in his beloved chickens. While they are no longer with us, the beautiful memories they created will forever be a part of those they loved.

Mike and Debbie's passing leaves a profound void, and they will be dearly missed by their vast network of family, friends, and community. Their greatest legacy is the beautiful family they created and nurtured. They are survived by their loving children, Kayla Marie (Wood) Langford and her husband Clayton Langford of Pineville, Missouri, and Jacob Michael Wood of Pineville, Missouri. Their love will live on through their cherished granddaughter, Bria Marie Langford. Mike is survived by his father, Merle Wood, and his sister, JoAnna Wood and her wife Sheila Wood. Debbie is survived by her siblings, Julie Landwehr, Bommer Anderson, and Mike "Bubba" Anderson and his wife Aretha Anderson. They also leave behind a large, loving group of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, friends, and their beloved church family.

Mike and Debbie are now reunited with those who went before them: Mike's mom, Kathy Wood, and Debbie's parents, Betty and John Anderson.

A celebration of Mike and Debbie's lives will be held on September 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pineville Christian Church. To honor their memory, the family asks that you wear the color blue. A lunch will be provided at the church immediately following the service. Flowers or donations may be made to the Pineville Christian Church.
