She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Norma was a charter member of North Main Street Baptist Church and a member of Forest Park Church. Her Sunday School class with the church ladies was a source of strength and fellowship, where she shared her wisdom and compassion.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her two sisters, Evelyn Shumaker and Kathy Greninger; and one great-grandson, Noah Ebert.

Norma is survived by her three children, Rick Ebert, Kristi Doran and husband, Brian, and Jeff Ebert and wife, Kellie; five grandchildren, Ashton Ebert and wife, Micah, Tristen Ebert and wife, Jewel, Kaitlyn Doran, Kenzie Doran and Kelsea Hays and husband, Justin; and eight great-grandchildren, Paxton, Harper, Asa, Julian, Iris, Annyston and Dawsynn.
