(From Parker Mortuary)Sherry Lynn Kelley, 61, Joplin, MO., passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Joplin, MO, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 29, 1964, in Frankfurt, Germany, to the late Melvin and Ella (Silvers) Williams.
Sherry had a fulfilling career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she dedicated herself to the well-being of others. She found immense joy in the company of her beloved dogs, Dax and her grand-dogs. Sherry's love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Watching her daughter, Makenzie play softball was among her favorite pastimes, filling her with pride at every game. She also enjoyed road trips, motorcycle rides, cooking, and thrifting with her granddaughter Emma.
She is survived by her significant other, Warren Barnes; children, Lauren Zallar, and Makenzie Espinosa (Matthew); grandchildren, Emma Zallar, Pressli Zallar, Remi Zallar, Phynlee Zallar, and Ryan Zallar, Jr., Siblings, Vickie Fredrick (Marc) and twin sister Karen Reynolds (Frankie).
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ryan Zallar, and nephew, Brett Reynolds.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel in Joplin, MO.
