(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Brent James Harl, 48, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on August 5, 1977, in Joplin, Missouri.
He had resided in Joplin for the past two years, moving from Dallas, Texas where he lived several years.
He worked in Security Research in the fraud department for various banks.
He enjoyed watching documentaries, computer gaming and various other computer interests, and he loved to travel.
Survivors include his mother; Rebecca Harl of Webb City, Missouri, two brothers; Brock Harl of Riverside, Alabama and Andrew “Drew” Harl of Overland Park, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Harl.
Private Family Graveside Services will be at the Carl Junction Cemetery in Carl Junction, Missouri.
