Joe enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a foster parent for 10 years in Newton County where he helped several children. He also loved to hunt and fish. Joe worked for Talbot Wire in Neosho, Missouri for 15 years and then went to Safeway in Joplin for 10 years until he retired. Joe then went back to school and got his GED and went to HVAC school where he received a degree for heating and air. He also had 2 dogs that were always by his side.
Joe had a great since of humor, even after being a double amputee, he would joke about not having stinky feet anymore. He later discovered that he had cancer and even after treatment he shortly lost the battle. Thank you, Daddy, for always being there and being a constant in our life. We love you. Rest in peace until we meet again.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO
