(From Simpson Funeral Home)Ronald D. Sallee passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 83. He was born on September 19, 1942.
Ronald proudly served in the United States Army, an experience that helped shape his strong work ethic and lifelong sense of responsibility. Following his military service, he built a long and respected career as a mechanic, working in the trade for over 30 years. He was known for his skill, dedication, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
In his personal life, Ronald enjoyed the outdoors and found great pleasure in fishing and camping. These activities brought him peace and were often enjoyed with family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his son, David Sallee, and daughter-in-law, Amy Sallee; his grandchildren, Buddy Sallee, Chelsie Sallee, Matthew Sallee, and Cory Thrasher; his great-grandchildren, Cooper Sallee, Kailyn Sallee, and Paisley Sallee; and his siblings, Kathy Peters, Connie Castelo, and Laura Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maxine Sallee; his wife, Geraldine Sallee; and his recent wife, Ruby Sallee.
Ronald is survived by his son, David Sallee, and daughter-in-law, Amy Sallee; his grandchildren, Buddy Sallee, Chelsie Sallee, Matthew Sallee, and Cory Thrasher; his great-grandchildren, Cooper Sallee, Kailyn Sallee, and Paisley Sallee; and his siblings, Kathy Peters, Connie Castelo, and Laura Stewart.

Ronald will be remembered as a hardworking, dependable man who lived a life of service to his country and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
