(From Simpson Funeral Home)It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of a beautiful soul, Nicole Marie Ham, who gracefully closed her chapter on earth on December 8th, 2025. Nicole was born on a cold winter morning on December 28th, 1973, in El Dorado Springs, MO, USA, to Robert and Cherie Wilson.
She was a beacon of light, always illuminating the lives of those around her with her loving, funny, compassionate, and witty nature. As William Shakespeare poetically stated, "And though she be but little, she is fierce." This quote perfectly encapsulates Nicole's spirit: petite in stature but mighty in warmth, kindness, and resilience.
Nicole spent her early years in El Dorado, eventually moving to Lamar and Branson, before finally making Carthage her home. She was employed at the Grand Country Resort, where her sunny disposition and warm hospitality brought joy to many guests. In her free time, Nicole found solace in creating custom t-shirts and Tumblr cups, adding a creative touch to everyday items.
However, what mattered most to Nicole were her beloved grandkids Grayson, Harlow, Tucker and her faithful canine companion, Emmitt. Her love for them was as vast and infinite as the universe itself, and their memories of her will be treasured forever.
Nicole was a woman of great strength and courage. She is survived by her loving daughters, Breanna Wilson, Sydney Wilson and her brother Michael Wilson who were the apples of her eye. Nicole is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Cherie Wilson. Their love and guidance shaped Nicole into the extraordinary woman that she was, and their spirit lived on in her.
In these moments of loss and sadness, let us remember Nicole for the vibrant life she lived and the love she shared. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life, honoring her memory and the indelible mark she left on our lives. Services are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home. The family encourages relatives and friends to visit www.simpsonfh.com to share photos and memories of Nicole. As you remember her, think of the words of Emily Dickinson: "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Nicole's love will remain immortal in our hearts forever.
