Robert John Fackler, 74, Neosho, passed away July 19, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness.
He was born October 2, 1941 in Blair, Nebraska, the son of Paul Jones and Mildred Gertrude (McCormick) Fackler. Robert served in the US Army from January 1964 – October 1967. He then came to Neosho in the early 1970’s. He was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, target practice and was a member of the NRA.
Robert married Judy and she survives. Additional survivors include 8 children: Debra and Rick Pena, San Antonio, Texas; Angela Gray and companion, Gary Lewis, Columbus, Georgia; Mary and Jeff Bitney, Columbus, Georgia; Jean Fackler and companion, Gary Altig, Columbus, Georgia; Bill and Amanda Arwood, Joplin, Missouri; Pam and Tony Lindsey, Goodman, Missouri; Janet and Mike Hunley, Columbus, Kansas; Brittani and Cory Rose, Tuttle, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Dick and Janice Fackler, Austin, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his best buddy Spike.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
