Tony was born May 23rd, 1962, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma along with his twin brother Jeffery Noland who preceded him in death. Tony was always proud to be twins and had an undying devotion to his brother.

Tony was born to Clyde “Willie” and Patricia Williams who preceded him in death. As a young child he travelled the world with his parents and often spoke of how proud he was of his dad’s time in the Navy.

In his freshman year of high school his family moved to Webb City, Missouri where he very proudly became a Cardinal. Playing football was one of his passions in high school and he even earned the nickname “Hog” by all of his football buddies. He was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Joplin.

Tony began his career in welding at Eagle Picher at age 18 and then moved to Mid-America Precision Products where he remained for 39 years and retired in 2016. He loved welding and creating things that he knew were going to the military. He always said he, “had the hands of a surgeon and brains of a welder”.

He married Tonya R. Williams on March 10th, 2006, in Joplin, Missouri (she survives) where we quickly became a blended family of 6. Tony never believed in calling his step-kids “step”; The day he married Tonya they all became ours and he stepped up to be a dad when he didn’t have to be. His children were the highlight of his life; Hunter Lane Williams (Cathline), Ashton Rachelle Atkinson (Josh), Zakkary Howerton (Saige), Luke Roland Williams, and the sunlight of his life, his granddaughter and fishing buddy, his “AL” Allie. Tony loved being outside, working in our garden, playing with his three fur babies Shade, Sky, and Sadie, and his biggest love being fishing. Rain, cold, hot, it did not matter, all he wanted to do was fish. His notorious saying was. “Just one more cast guys, just one more”. He was a true fisher of men physically and spiritually. He helped lead many souls to Christ.

Matthew 4:19 was his true heart; “And he said unto them, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”

A family held Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm Saturday January 6, 2024 at Wildwood Baptist Church 4827 E 20th Joplin, Missouri.

Paul Wallis

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Paul LeRoy Wallis passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Thursday December 21st at the age of 79 after a long-fought battle with cancer. He has finally reunited with the other half of his soul, Janis, whom he has wanted to be with again for over 2 1/2 years.

Paul was born on October 29th, 1944 to Joseph and Allie Wallis (Douglas) in Gassville, Arkansas. By fate's design, their family ended up in Heber City. That is where two souls connected when Paul met Jan as teenager. For some time the young couple and their three daughters lived around the Four-State area, eventually planting roots in Pineville, Missouri. Paul had been in the same home he shared with Jan for the past 36 years.

Paul spent the majority of his working years as a mason in construction but his passion was restoring vintage cars. He was able to pass on his art talent down to many members of his family, as well as his green thumb. Along with cars Paul loved to hunt and fish, sharing plenty of those moments with his wife, kids, and grandchildren. His home had an open door to his loved ones, no matter the situation.

Paul and Jan would attend any event or game for their family, regardless of how they were feeling at that time. He always had a sparkle in his eye and a possible joke or trick up his sleeve. One of his favorites was sneaking an Easter egg into his pocket and then watching his family search everywhere for the missing egg.

Paul will be deeply missed. There is comfort in knowing he is at peace and has been brought together with his best friend Jan. He has left behind his three daughters Betty (Curtis) Cutlip of Neosho, Patti Kintz of Pineville, Robbi (Barry) Nelson of Pineville; sister Lavon Sharp of North East Ok., brothers Joe Wallis of Rolla, Jim (Sue) Wallis, and Bob (Carol) Wallis of North East Ok.; grandchildren Andrea Torrez, Amanda Gibbs, Jason Torrez, Penny Ponder, Alaina Williams, Tyler (Khaylea) Gibbs, and Katie (Austin) Francisco; 16 great-grandchildren with another on the way; two great great-grandchildren and another on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

Don Ward

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

We are here to celebrate the life of a man whose laughter was as infectious as his love for a good country song - Donald Ward, affectionately known as Don. Born on the 17th of June, 1958, in Mineral Point, MO, Don graced this world with his wit and charm for 65 joy-filled years.

He had a knack for making everyone he met feel like they were the most important person in the room, a trait that no doubt served him well during his years in restaurant management. But now, it's time to raise a glass (preferably filled with beer) to toast this funny, witty, loving, and loyal man who brightened so many lives.

Don was a lover of the simple things in life. A good country song, a cold beer, a fishing line cast out into a quiet lake, or a hunting trip with his brothers were the things that brought him joy. His retirement in 2020 from Nichols Management in Webb City, MO, allowed him the time to indulge in these passions and, of course, the occasional dance-off! The stories and jokes he gathered from these adventures will continue to bring smiles to our faces, even in his absence. He was a man who loved deeply, and what mattered most to him was spending time with his family. Don's love for his family was only matched by his love for his hometown, Jasper, Missouri, where he resided for 15 years.

Don was surrounded by love not only in life but also in death. He is survived by his children Donnie (Amanda) Ward Jr., Daniel Filley, Savannah (John) Rodgers, Zachary (Bailey) Ward, and stepsons Johnny (Kim) Mayberry, Billy Mayberry, Terry Mayberry. He is also fondly remembered by his siblings Donna (Mike) Kean, Jason (Kristie) Ward, Joseph Ward, Lena (Cecil) Daugherty, Lester (Lisa) Ward, Mike (Laura) Ward and Stacy (Christy) Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Audrie Ward, and his son, Danny Ward.

Donald’s visitation will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10am at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. The funeral service will follow at the same venue at 11am with pastors Larry DeGonia and Emu DeGonia officiating.

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers include Jimmy Ward, Tim Kean, Ryan Ward, Scott Ward, Lester Ward Jr., and Matthew Farmer. Interment will be at Carterville Cemetery.

We encourage you to share your fond memories, stories, and photos of Donald on his memorial page at simpsonfh.com. His legacy is not just in the lives he lived, but also in the laughter and love he left behind. Don is gone, but his zest for life, his hearty laughter, and his love for his family will continue to live in our hearts forever. He will be missed more than he will ever know, by so many, but his spirit will continue to bring joy to those who knew him. Please join us in celebrating the life of this extraordinary man.

Funeral arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Simpson Funeral Home.

Chris's sudden departure from this world was the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, a tragic and unexpected end to a life filled with joy, service, and love.
